The demands for the social sciences are great - be it to develop a strong citizenery, address social problems, advance the development of the nation, or prepare for possible crises. Social Science educators well know that no major issue can be adequately addressed without cooperation and involvement of all stakeholders. With this thought in mind, the Department of Social Sciences at UEW is proud to introduce its first Social Science Conference.
Using a national scope, the conference will bring together the nation's social science academicians as well as members of civil society organizations and community leaders. Students of all educational institutions and the general public are encouraged to participate. Through the sharing of ideas, Social Science Department at UEW hopes to propagate a serious dialogue of addressing the developmental needs of the nation through the social science.
