While there is an Economic slowdown globally, capital is flowing into sub-Saharan Africa in an unprecedented scale. The economies are currently experiencing robust growth, reinforced by an increasing interest from international investors. It's hardly surprising that sub-Saharan Africa is seeing a dramatic increase in funds being raised for investment there. Sub-Saharan Africa will see more focus from the financial sectors. While investing in the region has its own share of pains and gains, two major factors that have endeared investors to the region are Natural Resources and presence of a huge market. Research indicates that the recent Privatization and De-regulation exercise, incentives offered by the government and improvement in the macro-economic environment are strong incentives for foreign investments.
